Plymouth Rock's Rus Walton dead

Marlborough, New Hampshire Rus Walton, a leading Christian Reconstructionist, died on October 6, after suffering a stroke. Walton, a prolific writer and conference speaker, headed the Plymouth Rock Foundation. In "Letter from Plymouth Rock," one of the group's publications, it stated that Walton passed away peacefully in the presence of "most of his family."

One family member, his daughter, Pam Walton, was absent. Pam produced the widely acclaimed video "Family Values," about her relationship with her father. Pam, a lesbian, documented her attempts to reconcile with her father, after he disowned her because of her sexual orientation.

Rus Walton was a member of the Coalition on Revival and a regular speaker at the Rev. D. James Kennedy's annual "Reclaiming America" conferences in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Rev. Paul Jehle is presently serving as Plymouth Rock's executive director.
