A modern-day marshal plan
for Mr. Ashcroft
"If Attorney General John Ashcroft needs additional trained officers to
immediately join his sky marshal program, I know just where he can find
them," said American Life League President Judie Brown.
"During the past two decades, they've been on duty keeping abortion
clinics open for business at taxpayers' expense," she said. "But recent
acts of war should spark a long overdue reassessment of deployment
priorities."
Mrs. Brown said after years of protecting "pre-natal terrorists who
kill over 1.3 million preborn Americans every year," these federal
officers should be given the opportunity to protect the victims of
violence instead of the perpetrators.
"In the wake of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the
Pentagon, the nation is shocked by the brutal deaths imposed on innocent
persons," said Mrs. Brown. "Perhaps this tragedy will force Americans to
acknowledge that all forms of violence aimed at innocent victims should be
eliminated."
