Challenge the Promise KeepersThe Promise Keepers (PK) is a Christian men's group that holds huge
rallies at stadiums across the country, promoting a Christian revival
with the ultimate goal of "taking back America for Jesus." A number of
progressive and faith-based organizations are concerned that while PK
claims to be
apolitical, and is often represented as such in the media, it is, in fact,
an integral part of the political Right. On October 4, 1997 PK held the Stand
in the Gap rally in Washington, DC which drew hundreds of thousands of men.
Political Research Associates has teamed up with Equal Partners in Faith,
